Resource Groups

Resource Groups are a means of applying a common permission across a set of resources (connectors, applications, shares, etc).

Common uses for Resource Groups are:

• all resources on a site
• all resources of a type
• all resources of a manufacture
• all resources used by a specific Agilicus Launcher

A Resource Group may contain other Resource Groups, allowing nesting. Each Resource Group can contain 0 or more Resources.

A common overall strategy is to use Groups (of users) assigned by role, assigning permission of these Groups to Resource Groups by role/location/device-type etc.
