Government agencies are publishing cyber security guidelines, enforcement alerts, and memorandums for the water and wastewater industry at an unprecedented rate. 

Each notice is individually full of good facts and advice, but collectively, they are creating indecision: what do I do first? when? how? With what budget? Today we will talk about how to interpret, how to implement, economically, without disruption.

We believe guidelines and memorandums like Defending OT Operations Against Ongoing Pro-Russia Hacktivist Activity, SDWA Section 1433 (updated from AWIA 2013), and EPA Guidance on Improving Cybersecurity at Drinking Water and Wastewater Systems will move from “Suggest” to “Enforce” mode in the next year, and being prepared is not only good for security, but also compliance.
